We can provide sample walks and cycle routes, advise on walking plans and organize transport, picnic lunches and seasonal packages to accommodate walkers and cyclists.

There are paths right on the doorstep of the city. In Inverness you can stroll around the banks and islands of the River Ness, and even extend your walk to the Caledonian Canal towpath.

The extensive path networks in the glens and forests surrounding the high Cairngorms make this area perfect for relaxing walks. Marked trails lead through woods, moors and by rivers and lochs, often with views of the surrounding mountains. Many routes run through tracts of ancient Caledonian Pine forest, which contain magnificent, gnarled trees and support a profusion of wildlife. In several locations the spectacular scenery has been used as a backdrop for filming the BBC TV series 'Monarch of the Glen'.

The Northern Highlands also offer splendid variety, all the way from the remote wildness of the austere rock-hewn landscapes of the far north west and Wester Ross, to the quintessentially Scottish architecture of the old burgh of Cromarty at the tip of the Black Isle or the ancient archaeological sites of Caithness.
